Catching Up

Last November-ish the hubby and I were going out to dinner with another couple. We arrived early and guess what was right next door to the restaurant? A fabric store. He offered and so we walked in. Right at the front of the store was a line of fabric that I fell in love with. He said let's buy it and you make yourself a quilt. MMMMM never made one for just myself. So buy away he did and wrapped and put it under the Christmas tree. This is the quilt. I knew I wanted to do something special for the quilting so after searching different ideas this is what I came up with. I also scalloped the edges. I've been using it a year now and highly recommend to all quilters.....make yourself one!

Year of Giving

Here's a quilt I gave my good friend for her Birthday last year. 2011 that is

Left Overs

And this is the quilt Todd pieced for our oldest son with the left overs from his quilt. How many 14 year olds can say this is the quilt my dad made me.

My Wonderful Parents

My mom asked me to make a quilt that you can really see the quilting. She picked the pattern and fabric and this is what was created.

Todd's Creations

So Todd found some fabric a while back in one of my magazines that he really liked and said "Maybe I'll make me a quilt" so thanks to our daughter finding the fabric on the internet and a little help from me, this is his creation. He even created his own pattern. I know it's awesome!
